3 Key Areas to Understand before Building a Personal Brand
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][dt_gap height=”20″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Before you can build and grow a personal brand, there are three things that need you need to know and explore about yourself before trying to brand and market you. Follow these three tasks. These are not easy so let’s get started!
1. Know yourself
it may seem quite self explanatory, but you’d be surprised at how many people out there do not know themselves well. Even if you feel you’re confident in telling someone else who you are, you need deep insights into what you are about in order to know how to position your personal brand.
2. Know your purpose
Most people feel they go to work for work’s sake as opposed to feeling they are living their life’s purpose. Are you doing work you adore and do you believe you are making an impact and making a difference?
3. Passion
What are you passionate about? It could be that you are truly in love with the work that you do, and that you are excited to get to work every day. Perhaps it is your extracurricular activities or work with charities that really excites and ignites your passion. Jot down your passions and what it is about them that really gets you going.
Remember the more you jot down about yourself, the easier it will be to identify those key differentiators that set you apart from others in your field. If these are not in place, it is very difficult to build and grow a personal brand.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
